I like this music video as it really emphasises on the lyrics using the strong black and white filter to link to the genre of the strong,

Along with the strong filter they also use many actions within the video to emphasise the genre of the song. The "love" written in really rough font surrounded by candles strongly helps the viewer identify the songs purpose. They also use Vernallis theory very well as the music video contain base track editing, jump cuts, obvious editing (the jump cuts and the black and white filter) along with a load of close up shots of the artist. They only play off Mulvey's theory of the male gaze slightly as the female artist is wearing make up, however she doesn't too many actions to show off to the audience and isn't dressed accordingly to show a male gaze.
